چکیده

The object of this study is to determine the best solvent and optimum extraction conditions for maximum phenolic compounds from Alchemilla vulgaris leaves. Extractions were carried out using solvents with different polarities. Box-Behnken Design was used optimize including time, temperature, liquid/solid ratio. In study, extract obtained acetone-water indicated highest total content (TPC), flavonoid (TFC) antioxidant activity. Optimum both responses found as 168 min, 48.5 °C, ratio 41:1. TPC TFC values determined 7.17 mg GAE/gdw 3.63 QE/gdw under conditions. Concentrations five analyzed by HPLC increased significantl after optimization. results that optimizing critical quantification compounds. present model can contribute food industry where have potential use biopreservatives.

Optimization of Extraction Conditions for Maximal Phenolic, Flavonoid and Antioxidant Activity from Melaleuca bracteata Leaves Using the Response Surface Methodology

Melaleuca bracteata is a yellow-leaved tree belonging to the Melaleuca genus. Species from this genus are known to be good sources of natural antioxidants, for example, the "tea tree oil" derived from M. alternifolia is used in food processing to extend the shelf life of products. In order to determine whether M. bracteata contains novel natural antioxidants, the components of M. bracteata etha...
